OUR VALUES

AT MDE WE...

ARE UNWAVERING IN OUR COMMITMENT to provide our families with the highest standard of compassionate care. Parenthood can be a daily challenge - but we promise to be present for every step of the journey. The support we provide will always be nurturing, unbiased and non-judgemental.

FOSTER COMMUNITY and a network of support for both our families and our team members. We truly believe it takes a village and we are committed to creating that village for everyone we come into contact with.

COMMIT TO ETHICAL PRACTICE which drives our core mission of bringing seamless maternal support to the families of NY. We will always be transparent about our philosophies, communication and ways of practice, and continue to build our company on an ethical foundation, cultivating strong integrity from every member of our MDE Family, leading by example in our leadership team.

Anti-Racism Statement

As educators, support givers, space holders, childcare givers and community members, everyone on in our MDE Family commits and accepts their responsibility to ensure each child, family, and staff member is safe from racism and discrimination, and has equitable opportunities to thrive.

We are an organization that supports people of every color and every background. We are committed to celebrating diversity and creating an inclusive environment for all families and staff, which includes a commitment to providing every family and staff member with the love, care and support they deserve as human beings. No one deserves to be mistreated for any reason, but especially not because of their race, ethnicity, or personal background.

We are committed to continuing the anti-racism work needed as individuals and as an organization, to sharing research and resources on racism and maternal health disparities, and to continuously engage in the crucial dialog needed to bring the change our world so desperately needs. We are dedicated to using our voice and our platform to help drive and support this path to healing and change.

As our company grows, we are embedding anti-racism practices in all that we do - in our company policies and culture, organizational structure, voluntary community work, and engagement with all families and staff. In addition, our goal is to bring maternal care and support to all communities regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, age, status as a protected veteran, or status as an individual with a disability, because everyone deserves prenatal and postnatal care.
